Arhat
Synopsis
In numberless towns in China, there lives a group of young people called ‘hobo’ or ‘gangdom’. In Jiangxi province, they have another name ‘Arhat’.
Huabin and Huaqiao are good friends in high school. Huabin begins his ‘Arhat’ life in his hometown, Duchang, Jiangxi, after graduation from university. Huaqiao adores Bruce Lee, so he goes to learn Jeet kune for some years. After that, he comes back to his hometown to prepare for the examination of the Academy of Art. Huabin and Huaqiao want to be together as they are good friends.
A few years later, Huaqiao studies animation in China Academy of Art. He goes to visit Huabin who has just come out of the jail. On Mid-Autumn Festival, Huabin is attacked by others and is sent to hospital. They are longing for revenge.
On November 4, 2008, Huabin is put into jail until now.
