Synopsis
The film is about some Singapore children and their life in a remote village in China. This kind of documentary seems meaningless in the minds of adults. Even though children have different cultural backgrounds, their friendship is firm and beyond their nationalities.

Wei Ating was born in Shenyang, 1975. Graduated from the Central Academy of Drama. Major works include: ‘Big Drum’, ‘Marriage’, ‘Maoker’, and ‘The Smell of Sun’. ‘Maoker’ participated in the fifth Chinese Independent Film Festival and the Chinese Independent Film Week of the Seoul International Film Festival. This film won the Best Film Prize in Frankfurt Film Festival, nominated in the Lucas Award for Children’s Film in Germany.
