The 6th China Independent Film Festival Elected Films Announ

Nanjing Institute of Visual Arts (NIVA) is located in Zhe-Town, Lishui town, Nanjing, which is a quiet campus without any city noice. The coming of all the film makers, guests and most important: dozens of outstanding independent films bring the campus into a Carnival. Which seems pretty much like a metaphor of the current Chinese film.

Zhang Xian min--a professor of Beijing Film Academy—represent the final jury group of this festival give a powerful emotional speech at the opening ceremony, to thank Nanjing his home town, feed the independent film festival all six years, allowing him to have a platform chasing his own dream of film. Ying Liang, as the representative of nominated director looks especially relax, during the small talk of the opening ceremony, his attention was more located behind the bar, where Whiskey, beer, and red wine—all his baby was luring and waiting.

There will be totally more than 70 independent films shown during the festival, including drama, documentary and experimental. There will even be some short film and anime from the German-speaking countries. Cao Kai, the CIFF's curator, promises to the audience: the festival will offer to you all a truly feast of independent films.
